Kanga
Kanga is a popular fabric worn in popularly in Eastern Africa. It is usually bought in a pair of two pieces combined and will have to be cut and sewn before being worn. It is a light, colorful fabric made from cotton. It is also often given as a gift during birthdays or weddings. They often include a decorative border and Swahili proverb.
Kitenge
Kitenge is often thicker than Kanga and is typically less decorative than Kanga and does not include a Swahili proverb
